About

About the founder

IT Career OÜ is run by Kaie Aamisepp — software engineer, product owner and lifelong equestrian. Here is why one person can credibly work across software, stable websites and career consulting.

Short version

I have spent nearly 15 years in IT — as an application administrator, site reliability engineer, product owner and, today, software engineer at Estonia's largest energy group. Before and alongside that I rode and trained show-jumping horses professionally in Sweden, Germany and Azerbaijan, and ran my own training and coaching business for over eight years. That combination is the whole point: when a stable owner describes their business, I do not need the domain explained, and when a company needs a product delivered, I have done it inside heavy regulation and legacy systems.

Equestrian background

Show jumping has been part of my life since childhood. I trained horses and competed in Sweden at Kilsvikens Stuteri (2010–2012) and Alexander Zetterman AB (2012–2013); Nagel-Tornau breeding & sales (2012) in Germany, and for Gunay Equestrian in Germany and Azerbaijan in 2013. I have owned my own horses before 2010 and again since 2015, bringing several young horses up to 1.30–1.45 m level myself. Through Aamisepp Horses OÜ I trained sport horses and coached young and amateur riders for more than eight years. In parallel I built and edited stable websites as early as 2010 — which is exactly the service IT Career OÜ offers today.

I know what a working yard needs from a website, because I have run one: horses for sale, competition results, customer enquiries, news and photos — updated by you, in minutes, without calling a developer.
